History/Background: Mirya grew up near the northern sections of the Terilee River, close to the hilly beginnings of the Ice Wall Mountains. Her mother was the local Village healer and her father a simple farmer. She grew up on the farm with her younger sister. Mirya began exhibit early signs of a Healing gift at a young age, and was apprenticed under her mother for herbal healing, and basic bonesetting. When she was 15, and off to a nearby village for supplies, a sudden flash flood wiped out her home, and her family. Without any familiar ties, she took off towards Haven, to perhaps seek employment at the Healer's Collegium. Much to her surprise, she was immediatly enrolled as a Trainee. After only a few short years, due to her already embedded knowledge of general healing passed on by her mother, she gained full status as a Healer at 19. She has remained at the Collegium since, as a teacher in Herbal remedies, and in usage of the gift of Empathy.
