Description/Personality:	Jaycel, or Jay, as he prefers to be called, is tall(6'3") and rangy, with a whipcord-and-bone body type. He never seems to gain weight, but eats enough for two men. His muscles are not obvious, and not nearly as strong as some of the Heralds, but perfectly adequate to Healer's work. Along with a Healer's skills, he is also a swift runner. Jaycel is a lively and...vivid personality. He is rarely seen without a smile, and can turn almost anything into a joke. His bedside manner is excellent, as he has been practicing it his entire life! However, he takes his responsibilities seriously, and is deeply hurt when he loses a patient. He invariably bounces back, and uses courage along with his eternal optimism to get through hard times and rough missions.
History/Background:	Jaycel grew up in the northern forests of Valdemar, to be later renamed the "forest of sorrows." He doctored even as a young man, but only had the skills of a Herbalist healer, as his Healing gift remained active, but untrained. He was the best trained healer for miles around, and would travel from village to village, often running the entire way for emergencies. This developed in him great speed and endurance. He left homewhen bandits attacked a different village during a snowstorm. On his way to aid the wounded, he was driven off course and got lost. He stumbled by accident on a waystation, and stayed there until the circuiting Herald found him. He would have returned home, but instead was persuaded to train at the House of Healing in Haven.
